Rebecca Harshbarger is a journalist and professor in New York City. She covers transportation for amNewYork, and previously transit and the NYPD for the New York Post. She teaches reporting and writing at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. For several years, she ran a news website for Ugandan immigrants in the global diaspora called Ugandans Abroad.
